Lucie, a junior associate, focuses primarily on commercial and civil law. She gained prior experience in e-commerce and digital law, with an emphasis on consumer protection, unfair competition, intellectual property, and data protection. Lucie earned her master’s degree from Charles University, furthering her education in China, Finland, and Switzerland to deepen her understanding of international commercial and investment law. Her master’s thesis explored copyright aspects of social media advertising. At our firm, Lucie advises on the legal aspects of day-to-day business operations and long-term projects, with a concentration on labour law, intellectual property, and the legal implications of new technology.

Barbora specializes in ICT law, intellectual property, labour law, and commercial contracts. She provides comprehensive legal services to IT companies, including contract drafting and support in GDPR, public procurement, and real estate. Barbora earned her master’s degree from Palacký University in Olomouc and successfully passed the Bar exams in April 2024. During her studies, she gained international experience through an internship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and also taught contract and copyright law at the university level. At our firm, Barbora focuses on delivering practical legal solutions in commercial law while developing her interest in civil, labour, and intellectual property law.

Filip specialises in all aspects of financial regulation, not only in relation to new technologies such as crypto assets and payment services, but also more traditional but still rapidly developing areas such as AML and banking or investment services. His experience includes regular advisory to private equity and real estate investors and number of successful license proceedings with the Czech National Bank. Among Filip’s clients are a world-renowned algorithmic trader, multinational financial group as well as local boutique asset managers. In his academic career, which includes studies in highly rated universities in the UK and Germany, he focuses on investment structures and tax-related issues.

Tereza is a law student at Charles University and works as a paralegal at horakova.legal. She has a strong interest in corporate law and is particularly passionate about competition and EU law. She also gained valuable work experience in the field of public procurement. At our firm, she assists with drafting contractual documentation and contributes to the day-to-day running of the office.
